Syndication Update

Just an aside to the above: I think LJ got rid of the point system for syndication feeds. I can't see any reference to it on the Syndication pages, nor is there any reference to it in the Help files.

So now you have NO excuse not to add it to your Friends list, gang! :)

I thought I'd write something in here so that you inquisitive folks who have discovered I have an LJ account know why you never see it updated.

I maintain my own blog over at my Web site, http://fredsmythe.com. I use this account so I can add comments to my friends' LJ's without having to post as Anonymous Schmuck or whatever.

What I HAVE done, though, is set my blog up through LJ's Syndication service, so those of you who would like to add me as a Friend and read my blog that way with the rest of the folks in your Friends journal can do so. The address for that one is http://www.livejournal.com/users/fredsmythe_com, but there is a small catch...you have to pay syndication points to subscribe to it. Fortunately, the more people who subscribe to it, the less it costs for all involved, so tell your friends!

So now that I've pimped my blog, I suppose I should make an effort to update it... :)
